    Default Dresden Girls

The girls are leftovers from my DGD's 2011 Christmas Quilt. When I came across them with some UFOs, I decided to make some D Plates to go with them. I was about half done with the top when I heard that the wife of one of my fav merchants was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. I decided she needed a comfort quilt.

I hope so. At least 2 people credit my comfort quilts with their cancer survival. This woman has 2 small children and a very loving husband. I truly hope she beats the odds. I do know she is fighting it with her husband by her side.
