    This pillow turned out to be a nightmare! So, I already mentioned the fibers were poking through the black fabric and it looked messy. I started pulling each fiber out one by one to try and clean it up. Well, one of my pulls brought out a little extra fiber, and then more came out and so on, until I had a big hole. I carefully removed the Dresden from the pillow fabric and started over. This time I lined the black fabric with muslin. I re-attached the Dresden and now the pillow is perfect. Wow, huge lesson learned... but I like these kinds of lessons. I won't soon forget.

    Thank you so much northern lass. I gave the pillow to my friend yesterday and Aimee should be receiving it by Thursday. Unintentional good timing, her birthday is this weekend too.
