    Here's my dresden plate baby quilt so far... found the directions for the dresden plate at http://sewmamasew.com/blog2/?p=6713 and they were very easy to follow. The monogram in the middle is hand-embroidered from the kellyanngothic font. The birdies are also hand-embroidered from pictures I found online (can't recall the site). Still need to add a border of the light pink, and I think I'm going to attempt a ruffle binding in the dark pink. If anyone has a link to good directions on a ruffle binding, please post! I found some that I think I've figured out, but I'd love more step-by-step instructions! TFL! Isabel

    Thank you so much for sharing this picture. I love Dresden
    plates and I see a baby blanket using it in my future.
