    This quilt is GORGEOUS!! It's one pattern I'd love to learn how to make. I do have a template for it, now just to use it.. :oops:

    I made a quilt recently that had one Dresden Plate block and one Grandmother's fan block. I had a harder time with the fan than the plate. The blades on a dresden plate can be very forgiving. You can use a scalloped edge, straight edge, like a template would give you, or sew that straight edge into a pointed edge.

    I find the only "trick" to know is what order you want your blades in and keep track of it. It's a really wonderful pattern and it's easier than it seems.

    Mamagus.....I am the same way with white....just don't care for it....so I use it very little....I don't know what made me choose this color....just new it wouldn't be white.....Thank you for your comments.....glad you like it......:-)
