    me to...my question is if I get it long armed does it take away from the plates or do they not use a pattern on the plates.

    It's beautiful...perfect colors for a vintage Dresden. I have a small one I'm ready to quilt but can't decide how to do it, so you gave me some good ideas. My FMQ isn't ready for prime time yet!

    LOL - Anita, my FMQ isn't even ready for late night infomercials! I can do little things but I just can't get the hang of moving a big quilt smoothly. I just told myself if it were the 1930's no one would've been doing FMQ on this quilt, so I kept it simple. Not so simple as to hand quilt it though. I'm too lazy for that!
