    Love that you didn't use the traditional backing fabric. You GD looks like she will like learning about quilting from you.

    Wow, this one will be hard to top in the future. The quilt is lovely and the sweet granddaughter is precious. I am sure you are a very proud grandma.

    What a great project! Love the picture of your granddaughter working on the quilt also and hope you keep that with the quilt. I sew with my 9 and10-yr old granddaughters and it really is priceless to see the engagement. Kudos on a great family save.

    Beautiful quilt and beautiful story. How blessed you are to have these blocks and a granddaughter who loves to quilt. I am envious! She is gorgeous.
