    is the border fabric what she 'whacked'...ive been wanting to do that technique, but cant quite grasp what kind of fabric to look for...i hope she can show the 'before' fabric....its gorgeous....quality by both of you....

    I'm not the maker of this quilt, but you're right, she definitely used the same fabric for the border as for the Dresden plates. What a fabulous quilt! And the quilting just makes it even more beautiful!
