    What a fabulous quilt. I am not a huge fan of Dresden Plate quilts but that sunburst in the center completely transforms the block. I would love to see how she made that. You did an awesome job complimenting the piecing with your quilting. The 1/4" echo stitch around the plates with that fill work behind totally enhances the blocks. I bet your client was over the moon with the end result.

    It took me a while to realize that those points were dimensional. I thought I was just seeing shadowing at first. What a wow Dresden that makes.

    I love the piecing with scrappy fabrics, and your quilting gave it even more dimension.
