This is a pineapple quilt made with yellow, green and white scraps. The straight line quilting is more than a little wonky, as pointed out by my husband....repeatedly
. He asked my if I were drunk when I made it, hence, the name. It's going to my niece who will not mind the lack of skill that I have. I backed it with yellow flannel so it will feel good...even if it doesn't look good.

I love the pineapples! I rarely show my husband or family any quilts I finish or sewing on. I have come to not care about their opinions of fabric choices, pattern or size. It's really none of their business. They always have first choice of any quilt I make if they want it. They all have chosen a lot of quilts!

I like your pineapples and I’m sure your niece will love every stitch. My Mexican Star may have to be re-named too when I attempt to quilt it. I would like to keep all my straight lines straight but mine may end up being a Drunk Mexican Star and I don’t drink!-lol It will be loved and that’s all that matters.
