    Default Drunk Pineapple

This is a pineapple quilt made with yellow, green and white scraps. The straight line quilting is more than a little wonky, as pointed out by my husband....repeatedly. He asked my if I were drunk when I made it, hence, the name. It's going to my niece who will not mind the lack of skill that I have. I backed it with yellow flannel so it will feel good...even if it doesn't look good.

I love the pineapples! I rarely show my husband or family any quilts I finish or sewing on. I have come to not care about their opinions of fabric choices, pattern or size. It's really none of their business. They always have first choice of any quilt I make if they want it. They all have chosen a lot of quilts!

I like your pineapples and I’m sure your niece will love every stitch. My Mexican Star may have to be re-named too when I attempt to quilt it. I would like to keep all my straight lines straight but mine may end up being a Drunk Mexican Star and I don’t drink!-lol It will be loved and that’s all that matters.

Tell that man to get his eyes checked. The quilting looks great, and the quilt is beautiful.

Your pineapple quilt looks perfect. The quilting doesn't look curvy at all to me. And I haven't had a drink all day!!
