Thank you so much for sharing those photos. I love the fabric walk in... and those quilts... wow. To think it's all down by hand is hard to wrap my mind around. And the 14 year old's pieces... imagine what she could do with an EQ6 and a sewing machine.

DH is very good at exhibitions - he was an architect and is very interested in design so he finds something in the quilts to interest him - he even recognises blocks sometimes - one day we were at a show and he suddenly went 'drunkard's path!' - and he was right! :wink:

LOL...was reading: we were at a show and he suddenly went 'drunkard's path!'...being a visual thinker me self...I was picturing him going all wobbly suddenly...you meant, he exclaimed! 'drunkard's path'...LMBO!...guess that's the kind of quilt block name that would stick with a guy, huh??? lol :wink: :lol:

Wow K..just saw this post...the quilts are exquisite!!! I am amazed by the quilts made by the 14 yr. old... Gosh, at 14 , I couldn't sit still for more than 5 min. at a time, let alone long enough to make a quilt...by hand!! Yes, its mind boggling to me. Thanks so much for sharing your trip and yes, I did miss you too :lol:
