    Wonderful work!

    I like your distinction between a "panel" and a "cheater". I'm working on a wall hanging, but think I'm using a "cheater panel". Instead of appliquing all the background (trees, snow, lake, fish, etc.), I bought a picture panel and am appliquing the moose looking through the window frame in the foreground. So I think I really am "cheating", but I love the result!
