I won't do a border- if I bind it, it will be in solid black. I might try a facing though.

But I have to do something, right now it is raw edged.

Very interesting. It turned out great. I love the colored stipple and the over dye brought up the texture of the pebbling perfectly.

Does DH watch the Decorah Eagles on web? There are three chicks being very well cared for by a loving mom & dad.
If not, just search Decorah Eagles and it will come up. Your quilt is a very nice tribute to our national bird.

We're in Iowa, so we occasionally hear about the Decorah eagles, but we don't watch them. We like to watch the birds in our backyard better. There were more hawks than eagles this year though.
