    I'll try. The method I used is called Colorque' (color-kay). It is very basic (at least at my level). Trace your pattern onto the fabric. Take colored pencils and color in your pattern. Then take your fabric medium and with a paint brush cover the area colored.

    I used cheap colored pencils but if you use water color pencils it will really work best to blend, etc. I'm not good at that part yet (the blending).

    For this project, it took less than a nickel sized dab of fabric medium. I just brushed it over the colored areas and let it dry. Drying took less than 30 minutes. then continue to put everything together and quilt how you want, etc.

    This project was started and finished this afternoon.

    That's ok. I didn't know what one was until last month. :) Smaller ones can also be called coasters. Basically the name means....a rug to put your mug (coffee mug, tea cup, etc.) on.

    So just think of it as a coaster.
