Had DGD here today and her and I decided we needed placemats for Easter dinner on Sunday....we started at 8:00 this morning and finished at 12:30! Got 16 of them made...only have 12 or 13 (not sure yet) coming for dinner but decided to make extras! LOL Nice even number!

Cute idea and spending time with granddaughters is always special. You both did a wonderful job and it will be a hit on Easter.

Patsy those are too cute!! How special will everyone feel with one of those adorning their spot at the table! You and granddaughter do indeed make a wonderful team!! Can almost see the grin on your granddaughter's face when she proudly tells everyone "Grandma and I made them!!!"

Lisa...thats funny you said that.... I thought she knew she helped alot with them, but when my hubby came home this afternoon and when she talked to her aunt on the phone she denied helping! LOL its so funny cuz I thought she would be thrilled...she goes "I didn't help much" and I said "OH but you sure did!!!" She just doesn't realize how much! She isn't "sure" of using a sewing machine yet so I had her help with lining up the fabric and cutting it....and she turned them all "inside out" (birthing method).. and then she "stretched" them to get them ready for the next sewing step....she really was a great help! LOL
