My secret pal from church works at a group home for handicapped adults. My project for the year is to give her a reversible table topper every two months. Don't know if these will live at her house or the group home, but know she'll enjoy them either way.

In January I gave her Snowmen/hearts. The one I'm working on now is shamrocks/bunnies. I was going to wait until I'd finished to show off, but ... I was sewing them together to "birth" them, went to turn them right side out, and have the batting on the outside. Don't think that will work. Started ripping, then quit in disgust. Tomorrow is another day - but here's what the bunnies will look like:

Ric-Rac - me, too! Followed a pattern that used it for another runner and have to be careful not to stick it EVERYWHERE. Looking at this picture I wonder why I put it the way I did, but it'll work.

I love the bunny fabric. I think you have inspired me to try a table runner with ric rac. I love it.

Here's the other one I used ric-rac on and the link has a link to the pattern I used for that one.

I'm too familiar with the seam ripper, too, but .. not tonight! I was on such a roll, too!
