    Default Eastern Star quilts

I was asked to make two quilts with the center blocks given to me. The shoe quilt was designed around the recipients love for red high heals and the beach. She wanted beach colors so we changed the shoes from red to ocean blues. The other quilt is for a bird lover who also builds/collects birdhouses. They wanted something fun to finish off the fun center blocks created by those in their group.

Both are 100” sq. Simple stippling will begin tomorrow morning so they should go fast. I had fun making these but I’m ready to move onto the next project. Enjoy.

The borders are perfect, but oh so much work for you. You are gracious to lend your time and talents to these projects.

Those are great borders for your themes! That teensy pop of red on those blue heels is perfect!
