This is a pattern from Australian Patchwork & Stitching, all done with half square triangles. Its a gift for a beginner, or anyone, who wants to practice piecing and matching HSTs. The blocks finish at 12", and there are only four of them. The hardest part for me was making sure the rows were sewn the right way round and the right way up! Otherwise, easy peasy! Chose the colours for the contrast - definitely looks better with good contrast. I use it as a table topper at Christmas, looks good with a bowl of poinsettas sitting on it! Haven't seen any on the Board, so thought you might like this one.
