I think its wonderful and some say there are no coincidences and no accidents...maybe the quilt needed this small variation from sameness to spark it up!! You did a great job on this.

It's a very pretty quilt, and the mistakes are really not obvious - you've got to be looking for them. I'd leave it - let people wonder if it was an intended feature (if they notice it at all).

Honestly, I had to look, like one of those kid's "What's Wrong With Whis Picture" puzzles
    in the dentist's office.
The colors are so vivid, and the "errors" so obscure, I doubt I saw them all. I think it makes it more interesting.
Take heart, and enjoy the process.

FYI, in my line of work, we make pdfs of what we create and find that the mistakes pop out like crazy!
In light of that, I think I'm going to photograph my tops before I layer and quilt them. I'm betting that photo on the computer screen will show where I goofed!
That's one of the lessons I learned from this. Take a photo of the top before quilting it. The errors just jump out at you.

Ahhh! I'm just like you! But here I am learning! Amish thought: "Only God can make something perfect"! Or go with an appliqué on the "mistake"!
I see beautiful, gorgeous colors and very warm in the winter!
Wrap it, take a hot chocolate and enjoy your work!

I think it is a great quilt. No, it didn't turn out the way you planned it...but the message and memories make it wonderful. And it is very pretty! I like the randomness that the 'errors' give it.
