I have a new MC14000 and I am learning how to do this. Your post and pictures give me great encouragement.

I have an embroidery machine but it only can do up to a 4" design so I wouldn't be able to do it. Someday I would like to get a bigger & better machine but for now that is all I have. Thank you for the info. It is very interesting.

I also use this method to quilt my quilts. I was so excited when I found these designs, and I have since bought all the expansion packs. I love doing my quilts this way. I tried free motion quilting and never could get a result that pleased me. With Amelie Scotts designs I just use my embroidery machine and love it. I would recommend this to everyone with an embroidery machine.

Same as annette1952, I have a 4" hoop and also the 100x170 Plus Hoop, but neither are large enough to use Amelia's templates. Shucks!!!! Not able to upgrade at this point so will continue practicing my FMQ.
