Why THANK YOU K!!!! I love them..hatched and all! I will have to swipe this idea too for my quilt as I want some of the blocks to be more of a rectangle. These babies are darling!!! Did you make it up yourself??? I've always been a little worried that my "easter" eggs would hatch...I guess that does happen!!!1

I made a whole wallhanging this weekend...yes, chickens to go with my new kitchen floor. We have this ugle circuit box (yes..right inside the kitchen  ) and I cover it up with the hanging...I'm putting on the binding still but I'll post a pic later.

Thanks everyone for the compliments! :D

The pattern is in a book I've got - well, for two of them, the other one I drew myself, not too hard! Just an egg shape with a jaggedy top and the chick is just an oval with a flat bottom. The beaks are ebroidered and the eyes are tiny beads - middle chick looks a bit weird, I moved his eyes once but he stayed weird looking so I left him. Maybe he was dropped on his head when he was an egg! :D

Your welcome Patti! Can't wait to see your wallhanging! I did the same thing on our landing to hide a board that is reinforcing the wall for the towel rail that hangs the other side (we have strange walls made of hollow bricks - you can't fix anything to them!)
