But all your efforts paid off, it is gorgeous. I have the pattern, but have not started it yet ( it's about #19 on my projects list, lol). I saw it last summer in RWB, quilted by amandasgramma, and it is amazing. I just hope mine looks as goos as yours, when I get around to getting it done. 2 Thumbs Up!

Is Eldon the name of the pattern? I have never heard this. The quilt is beautiful and you must feel very accomplished.

It's not as hard as it looks. Eight diamonds sewn together for the center star and eight log cabins inserted and diamonds again to square up the block
The hardest part is attaching the rows together. Make sure you keep the rows in order, if you skip around you will get lost. Lol
