    Somebody was looking for a cat quilt pattern the other day and I was working on this one. I had drawn my own pattern, figured out all the piece sizes and all. Then I looked at what others gave her links for. I guess there really isn't ever something truly new. But what do you think anyway? Obviously this is just the block layout - but I see it coming together tonight!

    My color choices are from a picture my dad sent of an expedition to the rim of a volcano

    I love the colors. The snail pattern has so many possibilities. I've even seen it used with witches!!!
