Default Ellie-phant quilt - postage stamp madness

Here's what I'm working on now. My inspiration was from a blog post:
    http://grapes-hearts.blogspot.com/20...quilt.html?m=1

My granddaughter's name is Ellie and her mommy loves elephants, so this was about perfect! The squares are 1" finished. I think the postage stamp side is totally crazy and time consuming and mine is far from perfect even with almost a whole can of starch!
I think I have enough to make an elephant wall hanging too!

That is just too cute! All that work on one side - and then those elephants stomp in and steal the show!!

I'm always amazed at the places where people find inspiration. What a great idea to turn that book cover into a quilt.
