    You've done wonderfully well with those blocks. The quilting is something else. Wow! What an heirloom for your friend's daughter to treasure. A wonderful memory of her mother and you, her very good friend. Celebrate the success of this being done!

    That quilt is absolutely stunning! It's always difficult to take blocks that someone else has embroidered, get them squared, and all equal in size. I got my first cut from a rotary cutter doing just that -- I had to lay off the sewing and quilts for a couple of weeks after that one!
