!!! That is stunning and you should be so very proud of yourself for making such a wonderful family history quilt. Beautifully done.

I know this quilt will be an heirloom for generations to come. I did a queen quilt for our 50th anniversary last year, embroidering family history. I had to kinda blur the info to post on my album page here but I wanted to include a photo of it. I don't have photos on our quilt but I love how yours does. I like the quilting on yours too. Ours is quilted by hand. Great legacy you have & will one day leave.

Hobbykat1955 - I am our family genealogist and you have given me such a great idea for a family quilt. I never thought about including newspaper articles along with pictures, etc. What a wonderful way to pass on info in a way that everyone can enjoy, especially the younger ones for them to learn. I’m guessing I would need to make at least two quilts like this so I could include my family and my husband’s family. We’re nit a big family nowadays, but we go back a very long time - just wish I had more pictures. Thanks so much.
