    I enjoy embroidering and made 6 panels for this old

    What a clever idea. How did you attach the blocks to the window? Did you take out the glass first?

    schoolteacher dh removed the glass and I framed the emb. piece with batting and a thin layer of wood for the back, insert from the back into the window and staple in place. After you do all 6 windows cover the area with brown paper that is stapled in place.
