I just had to share a pic of the beautiful wallhanging that was a Christmas gift from a very dear friend. Each of the snowman squares is machine embroidered, and the quilt is embellished with machine embroidery as well. It's so bright and beautiful, I'm going to leave it up as long as Winter lasts. It brightens my day every time I look at it.

that is adorable! i'm hoping to do something similar with sea life for my daughter's newly-redecorated bathroom. headed out to get the thread this morning!

i'd leave it up as long as i could, too!
