    Default Emergency Baby Shower Quilt

How can you not know a baby is coming? My daughter e-mailed last night at 11:00pm. They were having a shower for a new church member , dates changed, schedules conflicted, but could I whip one up?. Specs were for a small car seat quilt with a flannel, non slippery backing.

This was ready at 2:00pm today. Who knew we are so capable of whipping one up when it is important:
Note: It helps to start with a cheater panel:

Well, you sure did a great job in whipping up one fast. It's very pretty, and the lucky person will love it.

Cute quilt! That's one of the benefit of having a stash, you can start sewing immediately without running out to the store.

that is adorable! I'm beginning to love panels. i bought one with a dragonfly and two butterflies (I think) and love it. So quick help panels are great!
