    It's very pretty but I agree its more of blending than contrast. Yellow would be a contrast color to blue, you could even do a golden brown yellow. You might try a narrow yellow border between the wolf panel and the 9 patches.

    i bought the same panels and was kinda having a hard time matching colors i usually do borders on my wall hangings but i love this idea and may have to steal it shhh dont call the quilt police on me! lol
