I'm thinking of keeping it. I'm starting on my 3rd pass on the quilting. BTW, the binding is already cut from the same blue in the first border. I'll post a picture when it is finished. I've only used used 20 of the 40+ blocks. I'm trying to decide what to do with the rest! I'm going to run out of the pink and blue.

Wow! What a treasure you have, and I love the quilt you made. The fabric prints look like 30's or 40's to me. You were very creative in how you used it. Probably good that you used what you had and didn't integrate new fabric with it. Beautiful quilt!!!

She had thought at the time that she would do something with them, but never got around to it. I finally got into them about two weeks ago and sorted through them. There were about 40+ blocks already made and ready to put together. My first thought was, "I hate this pink! Why would she use pink!" However, the more I looked and arranged and re-arranged, the more I began to see the possibilities, so I sewed them together into a top. Then I looked farther down in the sack, and found some blue that would look OK as a border, and more of the pink. I don't know how old this fabric is, but the pink yardage was only 36" across and I haven't seen that in quite awhile. Anyway, here is the top. It is on my frame now and being quilted with loops and butterflies! I'm beginning to like it just a bit...
Do you the old fashioned frames? It is beautiful....your own antique!!!
