I think the quilt is beautiful. I just love the old fabrics together and although I'm really not a "pink" gal, I love the entire look.

I have one that looks a lot like that. My grandmother made it for me over 35 years ago. The pattern is exactly the same and a lot of the fabrics look very familiar

She had thought at the time that she would do something with them, but never got around to it. I finally got into them about two weeks ago and sorted through them. There were about 40+ blocks already made and ready to put together. My first thought was, "I hate this pink! Why would she use pink!" However, the more I looked and arranged and re-arranged, the more I began to see the possibilities, so I sewed them together into a top. Then I looked farther down in the sack, and found some blue that would look OK as a border, and more of the pink. I don't know how old this fabric is, but the pink yardage was only 36" across and I haven't seen that in quite awhile. Anyway, here is the top. It is on my frame now and being quilted with loops and butterflies! I'm beginning to like it just a bit...
I love it, it beautiful!! Great job!! :XD:

I noticed that you used half blocks and quarter corners which is unique. A nice way to get the size you want. These old prints are so charming.
