What I see is many nice blocks in Christmas Colors. Take all of your blocks apart. Re-think the layout. Let someone help you. Divide all your blocks into two piles, LIGHT versus DARK. One possibility is to put all blocks On Point. Either alternate with a solid block, or use very wide Solid sashing to separate the blocks. Or, put it in a container after you take all blocks apart, and let it rest for a year or two.

I'm glad you found someone who is going to take your quilt and do something with it. They have a lot of suggestions to think about on this thread.

Give it to a thrift store and someone will be able to take it apart and do something with it. I have rescued many a quilt that was given away, sometimes we just can't see what needs to be done with our own quilts.

I was going to offer to take it but I see someone beat me to it. I'm happy that it's going to a new home and will end up being loved. Hugs and smiles, you did good by letting someone have it who will get it to a good purpose.
