Looks gorgeous to me!! Good job!! Sometimes the more frustrating and challenging a quilt is, the more we appreciate it when we're done!!

Your Lone Star is wonderful. You deserve a huge pat on the back.... I completed two Lone Stars and I can understand your exercise in frustration, that design was the most challenging. I didn't use starch either, that may have not been to your advantage. Good for you for completing it.

Think your Lone Star is lovely. This is on my to-do list. Hope mine comes out as well as yours.

It looks fine to me. You will have to point out the unmatched points. I will show my DIL. She can find an unmatched point in a 120x120 quilt. Yes, she is a perfectionist and her projects always look wonderful. I got her started but she has far exceeded my skills and so have you. Don't be so hard on yourself. My thoughts are if you can see the mistake with the quilt hanging on the porch riding by on a galloping horse, you need to rip it out.

Love this. Well done! Are all of the points supposed to match then? Some of us have learned from real life that there are times that you should settle for less than perfection and move on.

Beautiful Quilt. I also like the orange but not for me. When my 31 year old daughter was about 8 years old EVERYTHING she had just about was orange!!!! Wonder if she remembers that. I will have to ask her tomorrow when my kids take me to dinner. LOL

I think its gorgeous! I'm not the biggest fan of orange, but what you've done is just so great! It reminds me of the orange sherbet push-pops I used to get in grade school.
