    Oh my goodness, it is beautiful. So soft - it could even be a baby quilt - but not with all the work you put into it.

    Candi...my late MIL did an orange Lonestar by hand many years ago. I want to replicate the quilt (in her honor) because of course her daughter (my SIL) has it. I'm SCARED to attempt it! Orange isn't my fav. color, but I would love to have a copy of what my MIL did. I was so happy to see yours...its so pretty! So..I'm thinking that with you as inspiration, maybe, just maybe I can do one close to what I envision..maybe making the color a little more like yours... Great job, thanks for sharing it and your story!
