    oowee! I want that Herringbone! How would I go about copying that? What is it about that configuration that makes it look dimensional? I'm sure I have the fabric to do that, I just need to know how. Any ideas to help me?

    Ok, the herringbone is really stumping me. "How was it assembled?" I wonder. I would wage that it was done in a similar way as hexagons go together. It's not a braid because there are no straight seams between the rows. My best guess is to make the columns, then go through the tedium of having to stop and turn at each piece when you sew the columns together.
