Fabric boxes...but one has eyelashes
Ok, I jumped on the band wagon and made two fabric boxes. The very first one was made for Halloween and came out pretty good with straight line quilting. Then I thought, I could make some for Christmas gifts and fill the boxes with cookies or candy and would try my hand at FMQ. Bad idea as you can see for yourselves- eyelashes.
i think this has something to do with the tension as well as the operator. Lol
i have my tension set at 4.5 on my Horizon 12000. Anyone have this machine who knows what I should do? All suggestions welcomed.

If you quilted from the side you are showing, then your top tension is too tight. If you quilted from the other side, then your bobbin tension is too tight. I'd start by adjusting the upper tension...'cuz it's easier to do! Good luck! (Just make a practice sandwich and make small adjustments til you get it right.)

This was my thought exactly. The recipient will think you are soooo artistic!
Often eyelashes are caused by moving the fabric too fast especially on curves OR (and I'm assuming the eyelashes are on the back of your work) your upper tension is a bit too low.
