The first one I left the whole tube but was difficult to stuff so I left 3 four inch openings on the others then hand sewed
them closed . Also with the openings I was able to hand stuff the larger tubes, we got progressively smaller , the
smallest one was about 6 1/2 inches by the 44 inch WOF, just had to braid it tight but I liked the smaller one the best.
I learn best by trial and error. ;-)

Since posting earlier, I remember doing a similar thing ..... using cording and braiding to make a wreath for tree ornaments. Or turning fabric on cording for the braids.

How do your get your wreaths to stay round - they're beautiful! I made one in patriotic fabrics for Memorial Day and it hangs like a sloppy oval. I don't plan to use it again unless I can do something about the problem. Do you have advice for me? Thanx.
