    I check out the thrift stores as well. I passed up a nice sheet at the GW the other day and I could kick myself for that. I went back and it was already gone. It was new as well, you could tell they just took it out of the package and hung it up.

    I'm sorry I haven't read all the posts so this may be a repeat, but I use the white part of the bed skirt for the foundation for strip quilts. It is strong, washable and light weight. I have had very good luck using it. Have fun quilting in 2011.

    I went to Walmart today and this one must be having a sale 1.95 a yard!!! Yes I came home with some great deals....
