I've heard of them, but never actually saw any before. They are wonderful - I've had a postcard collection for 52 years - so I am a postcard fanatic. Thanks for sharing photos. They're grrrrrrrreat as Tony would say.

I love these. They just moved to the top of the "to do list".
I'm headed to google to find a tutorial. You have inspired me to give this a try. Thank you so much for a new addiction.
(maybe this will get me away from bow tuck purses) I can hardly wait to do this.

Your PC's are great. I have four shoeboxes full of handmades that I traded over a period of about a year. Some are just unbelievable. I have just decided I may use some of them and make small journals using them as covers.

Very nice! :-D I have also gotten hooked on fabric postcards.
I use Fast2Fuse for the interfacing. It is fusible on both sides so all I have to do is fuse one side, quilt it, then fuse the backing. I have also made the backing by pressing freezer paper onto muslin and putting it through my printer. I use the master copy from the preprinted panel of postcards I got from an LQS. It is made by Avlyn and a really easy way to begin making fabric postcards.

I made some but I also made an envelope for them and gave them to the person that I made it for. Made them for some of my relatives. You can check them out on my webshots in the crafts section.

You have to have them hand cancelled and they take a regular postage stamp not postcard rate..I use envelopes for those going to my grand as I want to be sure they stay clean
