    There have been some suggestions in the previous posts as to which pattern it is ... all 6" squares.

    I'm glad you specified that red was first place as you are correct, blue is first place in the states and I was going to say they should all be "blue" ribbons! Congrats. Love you fabric and that pp star was difficult..and exasperating!

    I guess the easy way to remember the First/Second colours in each of our countries, would be to think of the red in our Canadian flag ..... and the blue background of your stars on your flag.

    Though it was established long before we had this flag, and were flying the tri-coloured Union Jack.
