What do I think? Well, where to begin? My first thought was: Is mylar washable? Followed by: Those embroideries are precious!, The piecing is pretty great too. Love the pattern and the way it highlights the embroidery but stands on it's own as well. Spectacular fabric. Just LOVE it!

Beautiful quilt. Just one question - what is a mylar embroidery? Did you buy them finished or did you embroider them yourself? I don't have an embroidery machine so I don't know much about them. I do know one thing though - I don't need to start investing in another hobby so if I can purchase these types of embroideries already made up it would be cheaper for me in the long run. It would also take me another lifetime to learn how to do them and then use up all the materials I would have to buy to accomplish this.
