    Hi Everyone,

I'm new here and have been enjoying looking at all your beautiful quilts. You guys are amazing. I just finished my first twin size quilt (mostly a baby quilter before now) for my daughter. I just have to finish attaching the binding, but I really wanted to share a picture. I hope this works. :) I used my extra fabric to make a pillowcase, pillow sham, bolster pillow and a couple other deco pillows. I have 5 kids, she's the only girl, so she gets the girlie bed! :) She's so excited. I did have this professionally long-armed, and I think the girl who did it (Amy Jameson) did an amazing job.

The fairy fabric is the Apple Blossom from Mary Cicely Barker / Michael Miller fabrics. Not sure on brands for the others. I designed it myself, kind of as a quilt around the world.

Thanks for letting me share! ;) I hope I'm doing this right!

    ~Isabel

Yeah, I got the pictures to work! Sorry for the confusion, I had to make them even smaller.

Isabel, the quilt looks really great! I like how you worked around the panel. Great colors, too. I bought a panel similar to that, except the fairies are in a periwinkle color. I just had to have it, then once I got it I couldn't figure out how I wanted to finish it. Now you've given me a good idea -- thanks!

She is 5 1/2. She's had a print of one of Mary Cicely Barker's fairies in her room for a couple years, so when I saw this fabric, I knew it'd be perfect! :)

I love the periwinkle ones - would've been my first choice, but dd is all about the pink! :)
