    Thanks, SoozieQ. I SO can relate to your statement that this type of quilt is "not your strength". Nor was it mine, I loved to admire them, but felt very intimidated with the idea of making quilted landscapes. Until I attended an Accidental Landscapes Class taught by Karen Eckmeier. That was my turning point ... I was hooked. Since then, I have dabbled with several methods for making quilted landscape wall art. It's so much fun!

    This is wonderful, reminds me of growing up in upstate New York. All these years in the southwest and I still miss autumn (and summers on the lake) and the change of color.

    Beautiful quilt and your depiction of the ADKs is wonderful. One of my favorite places on earth and you surely did it justice. We are headed to the Adirondacks the second week of June, weather pending.
