I think they are called Bow Tucks because you tie a bow on the sides and that forms a sort of tuck on the side. Maybe there is another reason...I don't know!

I love all of the bow tucks I've seen here. I am obviously not looking in the right place to find the pattern. Could any of you tell me where to find one???
