Yes the quilting is mine! I quilted it with invisible thread the first time, then thought…oh it would look nice with some gold in the border…. Why I didn’t think of that in the first place I don’t know. So I didn’t follow my original lines very well, but it still looks acceptable. The problem I am facing is my quilting machine’s throat length. In really need an 18 inch and not the 9, been saving my pennies for awhile now!

The original picture showed a 7 piece pointed star. For the life of me I couldn’t find one… Lots of 5 piece pointed stars. So I just recreated the block in EQ6. My friend came over yesterday and said….oh I just bought a quilt with that leaf pattern in it….. grrrrrrrrrr :lol:

You did a fantastic job - when she sees it she may be sorry she didn't go to the class. Maybe you can teach her how to make it. I love all your fall fabrics and colors.
