I love how it turned out...... I have used sheets for backing for 30years. I know it is frowned apon by many but it has worked well for me ....

I also really like your choice of colors and pattern. Definitely will put on my list of ones to try! And I'm liking white as a great all around color to go with anything! And the more white the less busy and restful the quilt looks, actually.
I find myself admiring the very busy, exciting quilts, but not really wanting to be around them a long time--I think they make me tired. I guess I'm not much of a city person!

Really nice job on this. Your colors look great and this pattern is just altogether charming. I just watched a video for this pattern yesterday and am already cutting out squares to make a lap size quilt. I'm going to try it with a dark background. I'm making it for an ailing aunt and think the dark will be more practical but it will have bright colors for the charms. I think I'll be trying one with a light background too.
