What a beautiful heirloom quilt. And a wonderful way to display it. Great idea.

What a blessed idea you had. Framing that beautiful quilt allows it to really be shared with the young people, and brings your ancestor into the present. The addition of the beautiful sketched Tree is genius. What a tribute. And, don't you feel that you know that grandma just a little bit? Be certain to inscribe the back of it with your name and information so that in another 150 years, you, too, will be 'known.' I just love what you've done with this. Magical.
