    Default Family Project

My niece and her daughter (my great-niece) worked for a week with them helping sew the blocks, cutting them apart and laying it out the way they wanted it and then I sewed it all together, sent it out to the long arm quilter, and then I finished the binding by hand. Then, they came back a month later and we made pillow shams to match it. Here is the picture of the finished quilt.

How much fun is that! The quilt and shams are very striking for sure. I really like the way the borders and binding is done. But I think the fellowship is the very best part.
