Has anyone on this board ever done a family tree quilt?
I spent about two years talking myself into it, and now it's finished, except for the hanging sleeve.
    Size is 23.5 x 33.5"
My grandparents are the roots, parents/aunts/uncles are the branches, self and cousins are the leaves.
I thought about doing one for the maternal side, but there aren't nearly as many cousins on that side.
Now that I've done the work, there are several things I would have done differently (or better), but this will do for now.
I'd love to see others, if anybody has made one.

Heirloom is the word! It's stunning, what a great idea, I've never seen one like this - only the pre-printed panels. I like yours better!
