"Fan-tastique"
this quilt is for a wedding gift. Inspired by a picture in a Georgia Bonesteel book, i used two matching jelly rolls to make the fan blades. the arcs of the fans--top and bottom--are enhanced with silver rickrack. quilted with lines radiating out from blade edges and a continual loop design around each block. Simple but effective. I dated the guy who is getting married a couple times in January. I wanted to honor the fact that he was very honest with our relationship letting me know right from the start that there was another girl in the picture, and again when he told me he decided to stay with her. He let me know in July that they are getting married September 10th so I had to hurry to get this one done. I hope he and his bride enjoy many years of happiness.

Love Georgia Bonesteel. She comes up with the best ideas like this one. I love the edging on the fans, it really adds a nice zing. I am sure the couple will appreciate your efforts. You are a very good friend.
